I haven't run that Mind Blast variant before, but maybe Fireball for Liquid Flame? Not sure if you have the downtime for it though. I'd definitely drop GoLE though for another support skill.

I would never change Liquid Flame for fireball.
Fireball is a projectile and can thus be dodged, blocked,.. whereas liquid flame isn't and can be cast through obstacles.
Fireball is a 2sec cast, liquid flame only 1 sec.
Liquid flames hits nearby foes pretty much always (stuff in pve always attacks or casts spells) whereas fireball only has an adjacent range.
The only thing fireball has over liquid is it's shorter recharge time.

My main is actually an ele n i have a build thats kinda general pve n it works really well in all types of situations.
Meteor Shower
Arcane Echoe
Rodgorts Invocation
Mark of Rodgort
Liquid flame
Glyph of lesser energy
elemental attunement (elite)
fire attunement
this builds is pretty much nuking without the worry of breaking aggro or monsters running alway. mark of rodgorts supplies a large ammount of life degen and rodgorts invocation with good damage and metoer to interrupt. also you get unlimited energy with elemental attunement and fire attunment. only counters are destroyers cause there immune to pretty much fire and enchantment removal. hope you enjoy! GLE is ok, not great; you don't get too much benefit out of it since you don't have any 15e spells typically, you just get a Rodgort's and some random 10e thing. Those spells displace Mind Blasts so you're not really making out. It does let you spam spam spam a bit more, but usually you're just throwing some random Immolates or whatever when you don't really need to just because you have the energy. I'd rather have another ability.

Combined with a Minion Bomber it works wonders. The Minions get smacked rather than the party and the smacker gets facepalmed for max damage. With any luck a few of the bombs go off, tossing out 1000+ damage.
Works well against AoE Ele damage, Barrage / Whirling Defense on a Ranger. Noice...
